Italy Deports 40 Nigerian Men for Various Crimes


DSP Joseph Alabi, the delegate of the Lagos Airport Police Command, certifies that the Italian government has deported 40 Nigerians for giving diverse offenses in the country. The deportees, all men, connected at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos on Tuesday night, April 4, 2017 in a contracted carrier with enlistment number EL-SMU/3737.


Alabi said 39 of the deportees were charged to have given development related offenses while one of them was apparently incorporated into prescription overseeing . He said the deportees were gotten by officers of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) , the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and the Police.

This is the latest in the creating number of Nigerians that have been removed from remote countries in 2017. Before now, the Italian government had on February 23 and March 8 ousted 33 and 37 Nigerians exclusively.
