Rapper Arrested for Insulting Tanzanian President in New Song



Mainstream Tanzanian rapper Emmanuel Elibariki reported yesterday that he had been captured for supposedly offending the Tanzanian President, John Magufuli.


"It is genuine I will be taken into custody for further judgment. At this moment I am being taken to the police headquarters," Elibariki, known by his stage name Nay wa Mitego, composed on his Instagram account.  
Elibariki was captured at an inn in Morogoro, around 190km from Dar Es Salaam. Ulrich Matei, Morogoro police leader, affirmed to neighborhood media that the craftsman had been captured for "discharging a melody with words that insult the legislature." 


The rapper discharged a tune a week ago, in which he addresses somebody he calls "a specialist spend significant time in spearing bubbles" and says in Swahili, "Who are you now? Don't you need to tune in to counsel? Don't you need feedback?"
